This artwork was hand drawn by Megu Ueda on the wall along the staircase in Wabisabi Hove, Brighton, UK. The client requested a custom design of a colourful piece of art inspired by Japan. The result is a design inspired by motifs often seen at shrines in Japan, the kitsune fox and the guard dogs. There are two of each, one with their mouth open and the other with their mouth closed, to represent the beginning and the end of the world as we know it.
